Holiday Ready: Cybersecurity for Small Business is a practical one-hour training designed to help small business owners strengthen their cybersecurity before the busy holiday season. Using the Delaware SBDC Cyber Workbook as a guide, the session walks participants through five key areas—Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover—with an emphasis on simple, realistic steps businesses can take to protect their data, devices, accounts, employees, and operations.

The event will focus on issues especially relevant during the holiday rush, including phishing and scam emails, account security, multi-factor authentication, employee access, backups, and having a plan in place if something goes wrong. The goal is not to turn business owners into cybersecurity experts, but to help them recognize risks, take preventive action, and know what to do if an incident occurs.
