This webinar will focus on understanding what innovation is, why it matters, and how to think in ways that end up with new ideas. Each attendee will be guided to develop a plan that states their problem to solve and paths toward new solutions. 

Attendees at this webinar will learn about: 

  • Understanding Innovation: Defining innovation, its importance in today’s world, and the different types of innovation. 
  • The Innovation Mindset: Cultivating a mindset that encourages creativity, experimentation, and risk-taking.
  • The Innovation Process: Overview of the key stages involved in the innovation process (e.g., ideation, prototyping, testing, commercialization).
  • The Google Sprint Process: The five stages. Include video & website resources 
  • Ideation Techniques: Basic tools and techniques for generating ideas.

This is part 1 of 4 in an Agricultural Innovation webinar series targeting ag-related businesses. Farmers, food processors, farmers’ markets, restaurants, retail and wholesale food entities, food trucks, and agritourism businesses will find it especially beneficial, but it is open to all entrepreneurs and business owners seeking to innovate and grow!
