Demystifying Franchising

September 18 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Demystifying Franchising

Have you ever thought that you want to own your own business, but don’t have an idea of what you want to do?  Are you tired of making money for someone else? This workshop will explain why investing in a franchise may be a great opportunity for you; how you can be in business for yourself, but not by yourself.

When most people hear the word franchise, they think of McDonald’s or Chick-fil-A.  Yes, those are franchises, but franchising is so much more than fast food.  There are approximately 4,000 franchises across over 30 different industries and sub-industries.  This workshop will demystify franchising and give a high-level view of the types of opportunities that exist in franchising and answer any questions you may have. Find out if owning a franchise is right for you.

Pam Bartlett is a Certified Franchise Consultant (CFE), and a member of one of the top franchise broker networks (IFPG, International Franchise Professionals Group). After over 30 years in Corporate America, she invested in her own franchised business in 2013. After selling it in 2022, with a strong belief in the advantages of owning a franchise, she started her own full-time franchise consulting business. She believes that franchising is an excellent way to own your own business and strives to help her clients find the best opportunities for them.

This one-hour in person presentation will be follow by a thirty minute Q&A.
