New and Beginning Farmer Study Circles
August 20 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free
Study circles offer a welcoming space for new and beginning farmers—typically in their first decade of farming—to exchange ideas, tackle challenges, and build essential skills in a supportive, peer-driven environment. Shaped by the needs and interests of those in the room, each two-hour gathering encourages open dialogue and collaborative problem-solving, with experienced farmers and agricultural experts on hand to offer guidance and answer questions. Whether you’re refining your production practices or navigating the complexities of sustainable agriculture, study circles provide practical insights and a strong sense of community to help you succeed.
During this August event, attendees will gather at New Life Farm in Shinglehouse to participate in a SWOT analysis of this operation. Together the group will brainstorm and discussion this business’ strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
This event is being offered at no charge to participants.
Registering before the event is encouraged and appreciated!
