The Penn State Small Business Development Center, in collaboration with the Juniata River Valley Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce an exclusive Entrepreneurial Meet-Up during Penn State Global Entrepreneurship Week. The event will take place on Wednesday, November 19, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Shy Bear Brewing , located in Lewistown, PA. 

 

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from the owner of Shy Bear Brewing, who will share the story of how the brewery came to life—from its early passion to production trials and milestone moments. Guests can also take behind-the-scenes tours of the brewing operation during the event. Shy Bear isn’t just a brewery—they brew their own craft beer on-site, offer creative “Dry Bear” non-alcoholic beverages alongside cocktails, wine, cider, Rich Coast Coffee, and more. Their kitchen serves bold, innovative takes on comfort food classics, and with an inviting entertainment schedule planned, there’s truly something for everyone to enjoy. The brewery’s mission—to continually strive for excellence in all things, whether it’s crafting beverages, sourcing food, or creating an engaging atmosphere—will be woven throughout the evening. 

 

This event will feature light food and a selection of beverages provided by Shy Bear Brewing, offering plenty of opportunities to network and connect with fellow entrepreneurs and small-business owners.
