April 18 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

$75
Normative Leadership Series

This is an in-person workshop. Lunch and parking included.

Overview
In Part 1 of the Normative Leadership Series, you learned the foundation for understanding the “how to” process of culture change within the organization, along with the science of facilitating a more effective 1-1 meeting. Now, in Part 2, you will learn skills for working with group behavior, and a system for building employee accountability by incorporating a formal Performance Assessment System into the organizational culture. The content of this program is as follows:

Normative Leadership Series Schedule: Part 2 (1 Day)

Morning Session: Building a Team (9:00 -12:00)

Topics/skills participants will learn how to:

  • Understand and “read” group dynamics.
  • Resolve interpersonal team conflict within groups.
  • Facilitate team meetings.
  • Use the problem-solving process in meetings.

Lunch break: (12:00 – 1:00)

Afternoon Session: A Performance Assessment System (1:00 – 4:00)

Topics/skills participants will learn how to:

  • Understand the Normative Leadership Performance Assessment System model.
  • Build employee accountability through a simple job description that includes:

    • a position description;
    • responsibility areas; and
    • measurable standards of performance.

Upon completion of Part 2, you will have learned all of the key elements for culture change taught within the four modules of the Normative Leadership model. This system provides you with a simple, but powerful template for diagnosing and resolving the real problems you face on a daily basis. You will view organizational problems through a new perspective — a normative perspective. This will give you an intangible edge as a leader, and the ability to effectively create and manage your vision for real change within your group, team, and/or organization. Now, you are ready to forge your path as — a Normative Leader.
